From the West Indies hails International Reggae sensation, TURBULENCE whose music has become a revival sound for so many Reggae music lovers all over the world.
Widely acknowledged as being discovered by Phillip “Fatis” Burrell, the prodigy has proved his agility in music with tracks that have not only entertained but also motivated a lot of his fans.
The year 2022 has seen Turbulence pushing Reggae music to a level that only the greatest creatives have achieved. The Jamaican star has released several songs this year, including; Mr. Big Man (In Dub), Where I’m From, Triumphantly (In Dub), Telephone Chalwa, My Domain, and Who Is Really a Saint, among many others. His unique style has been recognized all over Jamaica and overseas. This has lured other artists to build a musical relationship with Turbulence and resulted in a vast number of collaborations with artists such as; Kemar McGregor, Stephan Warren, Sunny Trad, Adrian Donsome Hanson, Higher Trod Family, and Dug One, among others.
Since his music debut, Turbulence has travelled through genres of Ragga, Hip-Hop, and R&B with a combination of his rare style as a sing-jay artist. Earlier on, his sounds were widely considered to lean heavily towards the US market and that led to unwarranted trepidation from the purists. Nonetheless, his creativity resulted in a growing fanbase all over the world since the early 2000s. This year, 2022, Turbulence was featured on Reggae Triple Shots, Vol. 4 alongside other great Reggae artists. His Spotify numbers have risen to an all-time high and he has close to 2 million streams for his single titled “Obeah Man” featuring I-Shenko.

Haling from St. Thomas Jamaica but currently based in Birmingham, UK is the multi-talented dancehall artist 1LawdGad. After trying out a football career that led him to the under-17 World Cup in which he represented Jamaica, 1LawdGad’s musical agility was always coming to reach out for the better.
A dancehall/reggae, soul, RNB, and hip hop prodigy, artist 1LawdGad was always inspired by renowned artists such as; Alkaline, Popcorn, Skilibeng, Intense, and Vybz Kartel. His passion for music has kept on growing into a culture which he now embraces throughout his music. Since 2019, the prodigy has been widening his music versatility not only in the UK but also in Jamaica and other countries. He has already been recognized in other countries like Australia – where he has a tour lined up in December (2022). His extremely unique sound that you can dance to is what makes him the kind of artist you may want to listen to.
Coming to the point of his talent, 1LawdGad has harnessed those kind-of-good Ragga vocals and brought the kind of energy that often makes some of the most striking and exciting tunes. His vast discography is widening on a daily with tracks such as; Lift It Up, Run Di Place, Made for This, My Love, and many more. His music incorporates much of his Jamaican culture of riddims alongside the mainstream slyness of delivering witty punchlines and great vibes. The year 2022, has seen artist 1LawdGad grow hastily after he released his 2021 hit single dubbed “Lift It Up” which was directed to lift people’s spirits. This song produced together with producer Dark charm has created a base for 1LawdGad’s upcoming music and pushed him to new musical heights.
Currently, he is one of the artists lined up to perform at the Jamaican Music and Food Festival in Australia, together with other great artists like Turbulence.

Celebrated as the Queen of Bass-Line is Auckland-based diva and versatile Reggae artist RUBI DU. Formerly known as Silva MC, Rubi Du has been turning more and more to Reggae, and dancehall with a fusion of Hip-Hop in her sound. Her sultry vocals and electrifying live performances have solidified her artistry across New Zealand and Overseas.
With a great influence from her Caribbean heritage and Rastafarian upbringing, Rubi Du has released an extended discography over the years featuring an unforgettable style of South Pacific reggae, drum & bass and Hip-Hop flavours. Her musical excellence has been recognized through her amazing productions and videos that have grabbed the attention of many fans. Her recent discography holds singles like; Brown Skin, Back Up, D&G, and her 2020 EP project “Most High,” among other tracks. The prodigy has also been lately on a successful tour with New Zealand’s kings of Dub, Fat Freddy’s Drop.
Far less common is how straight Rubi Du comes out with versatility and exuberant style with music that is taking over radio airwaves and playlists. Her riddim-heavy, bouncy dancehall/Hip-Hop single “Back Up” is a testament to her sovereignty over the New Zealand dancehall scene. The single is capturing a multitude of music lovers and has over 5.5K views on YouTube since its release this year.
