All the way from Melbourne, Australia, Splifftail Entertainment is an event and management company that has carried the vision to support all kinds of music and artists prevailing in Australia’s lucrative music industry.

With a goal: To put Melbourne on a straight path from the burn city to a pool of super dope talents, Splifftail Entertainment has carried the narrative that aims at bringing the best to the fans all the time. Capitalizing on genres like; Reggae, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Afro-beats, and all kinds of music to Melbourne and beyond, the company has always come up with events that have created an audience for the artists and all other industry enthusiasts.

Splifftail Entertainment has taken the forefront in this initiative with an aim; To bring you unique and special music events to the best venues and awards winning DJs.

Splifftail Entertainment is the brainchild of two music influencers based in Melbourne (King Derek & DJ Emperor Sativa). Their idea to revolutionize the entertainment industry of Melbourne started somewhere around the lockdown that took over the whole world due to the preceding pandemic. During this lockdown, the entertainment company set up their online event show dubbed “Behind the MCs,” which had so many musicians turning up on their Instagram live shows to showcase what they have for the fans. The main concept of this online event was to entertain everybody that was on lockdown at home during those tough times. “Behind the MCs” featured a DJ on set (DJ Emperor Sativa) and had a lot of other artists who came through for the live event on both Facebook and Instagram.

Following up on the considerably good number of artists that had embraced their live events, Splifftail Entertainment thought of an idea to give back to the artists that had come to their live shows, which birthed the live music show “Aus Vrs Vibes.”

With a pool of talented artists from Melbourne, the events management, arts, and entertainment company aims at pushing the canvas in genres such as; Hip-Hop, Dancehall, Reggae, and all other kinds of music to Melbourne and beyond. These genres have for a long time represented the Australian music scene. Melbourne, as a city has for long been a hothouse of great musicians and performers. The public and fans in the dynamic city have supported live music, to the point of protesting venue closures, lockdown laws, and “Pay for Play” fines that had engulfed the industry a few years back.

Splifftail Entertainment has represented a variety of styles through rage, events (both online and physical), public broadcast radio, and their contribution to the arts industry. The city of Melbourne has also been very supportive in this journey with their local funding programs, art grants, and organizing local festivals that bring together artists around the city. This has given a platform to many young brands and continued to push new genres across regions where the music had not been appreciated as yet. Upcoming artists are today able to find a stage where they can showcase their talents, find their voice, and get linked with music professionals that could, later on, offer record deals to them.
